Welcome to Vivura. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
About Us
Vivura is a New Zealand–based small business selling handcrafted candles, jewellery, lip balms, bath and body products, and curated gift boxes. We operate online at vivura.co.nz. You can reach us at kate@vivura.co.nz.
Orders & Pricing
All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST (15%) where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, however the price displayed at the time of your order is the price you will pay.
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock or if there has been a pricing error. If this occurs, we will contact you promptly and arrange a full refund.
Product images and descriptions are provided in good faith. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. Small handcrafted items such as jewellery may have minor natural variations — these are part of their charm.
Payment
We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed securely at the time of order. Vivura does not store your full card details — all payments are handled by our third-party payment provider.
Product Disclaimer — Cosmetic & Wellness Products
Vivura sells a range of personal care and wellness products including lip balms, foot baths, bath salts, body butters, and similar items. These products are cosmetic and personal care products only.
They are not medicines, medical devices, or therapeutic products. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or alleviate any medical condition, illness, or disease.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have known allergies or sensitivities, please consult a qualified health professional before using any new personal care product. Always perform a patch test before first use.
Our products are not approved or registered under the Medicines Act 1981 or the Therapeutic Products Act. If you require treatment for a health condition, please seek appropriate medical advice.
Crystal & Gemstone Disclaimer
While crystals and gemstones are used to support spiritual well-being, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
Candle Safety
Our candles are handcrafted and burn beautifully when used correctly. For your safety:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
- Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and allow to cool before relighting
- Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- Discontinue use when 1cm of wax remains
Vivura is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from improper use of our candles.
Jewellery & Giftware
Our jewellery pieces are handcrafted and may contain small parts. They are intended for adults. Wire-wrapped and crystal jewellery should be kept away from water and stored carefully to preserve their quality. Natural gemstones may vary in colour, size, and patterning — these variations are natural and not considered defects.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Where products are purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Vivura website — including photographs, text, branding, and product designs — is the property of Vivura and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vivura’s liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or products is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
Privacy
We collect and use your personal information to process orders, communicate with you, and improve our service. We handle your information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
